OK this sounds really pedantic but I've just had a sad evening with a beer or two in front of the telly and spotted the following...

"The Queen" on ITV3, Tony Blair's car was followed by a new shape RAV4 and a 52 plate Mercedes E Class. In 1997...

"Band of Brothers" on Nat Geo, the paratroopers take off for France, the pilot of the lead Dakota was clearly wearing a pair of green Dave Clarks (headset), and when the dramatic shot of the 5 or so Daks in formation from the rear was taken, they were climbing out over a road with big high modern lamposts. In 1944...

Any more for any more?

V for Vendetta.

You see a guy with dark hair and glasses walking up the path to deliver a package, but a totally different guy actually knocks on the door with the package.

This one only sticks out in my mind because i am the first guy you see :P

Highlander II? It made the odd wrist watch in 'Spartacus' look brilliant. There were so many I won't even try to cut-and-paste:

AND it was so st that Highlander III carried on from the first one as if it had never happened!

People I know take great delight in finding flaws in cimematic circumstances. I never ever see them, unless it is freeze framed for me. My suspension of disbelief is too powerful for most films, as is my alliteration, it seems.

Back on the vehicle theme (as its PH afterall... wink ).........
Withnails drunken drive in the battered Jag (set in '69) and his subsequent arrest - "GET IN THE BACK OF THE VAN !!!" contains MANY modern vehicles....
If you look closely too theres a day-glo police van holding up the traffic for one of the motorway shots too....and others.
Its as though Bruce Robinson and the production team just said "fk it..."

I'll see if theres a Youtube clip....

Yes, mostly they don't matter. Just extra reasons to hate a bad film, normally.

Do, please, make an effort to see the 'Storm Trooper' bashing his head on the door in Star Wars. rofl

In the BBC/HBO production of 'Rome', as Lucius Vorenus and Titus Pullo return to Northern Italy from Gaul, in the distance, a row of authentic 1st century B.C. wind turbines can be seen...

Not a continuety blooper but a paradox.

Terminator 2

The Terminators get built because Miles Bennett-Dyson develops a revolutionary new chip design.

But

Miles Bennett-Dyson only gets the new chip design by copying it fron the remains of the T1 left after Terminator 1.

he could not design the chip without the Terminator and there could be no Terminator without there first being a chip.

Real Chicken and Egg stuff.

I thought the same, BUT in one of the Harry Potter films even I saw the radio mic transmitter packs in one of the scenes.

Battle of Britain

Not one authentic Battle of Britain aircraft in the entire film.
Ridiculous 1960s make-up on the girls and not terribly authentic hair-cuts on some of the chaps.

Still a great film and the incorrect aircraft have to be accepted as a necessary evil due to the complete non-existence of aircraft from the actual period of the Battle.

Watched the "Bank Job" on DVD last night, a good film but the cars were woeful..

Set in 1971, there were quite a few 'L' plate and even a few 'K' plate.

They used a lot of Rover P6's which is always nice to see, only one out of the five used was correct. One was black (they never made them in black) and it was also a 3500S (not made until 1972). The grilles were wrong as well as vinyl roofs. The Triumph used by the bent coppers was a 2600 (a very late car).

Shame as the story was pretty good.
