Am not impressed! My washing machine has packed up and a neighbour, who is a machine repair man, has said it's terminal. So now I have to go out and buy a new one frown
Any recommendations? This one was a Bosch and very reliable until now! Don't really want to spend a fortune-would rather spend my hard earned on anything else!!

What about that new Miele one, with the funny looking font door....the advert suggests it turns into a robot hehe

I got an ex-demo Siemens (same as Bosch) for £300 from a kitchen showroom place - very good so far.

I bought a Hotpoint something or other for £199 a few years ago. It's worked OK so far but I now go on the method of don't pay a lot for appliances as they don't last long no matter what you seem to pay for them. When you work out that a motor for a machine will come to at least £150 it's not worth repairing most of the time.

miele
alternatively go to costco and buy one that is both cheap and has 5 years warranty.

Well with 8 in the house, I buy the cheapest new one I can get.
Get the 3 year warranty.
If I get three years out of it, and then it breaks then I launch it.

The answer is Miele.

Which particular appliance again?
