Just a reminder that we are meeting here on Wednesday 17th, from about 8 PM, which is tomorrow if you're reading this today or today if you're reading this Wednesday or..
Anyhow, as it will be dark there will be no need to polish the cars beforehand, but bring a light jacket cos even the 'diehards' will be drinking outside.

Just noticed this! I used to go to this meet a couple of years ago but gave up after going a few times (admittedly in winter) and no-one else showing up. There's hardly a mention of this region in Sprint so I thought it had all but fizzled out. Perhaps I never noticed the change of day from Thursday to Wednesday!
What's the turnout like these days? Used to be 4 or 5 TVRs at best. Maybe I'll pop along tonight.

Bone of contention region has with 'central'...how many times does one have to say change the f
g day in Sprint before it happens? Last night we managed around 4/5 Griffs, about same in Tuscans (hard to tell - no lights in car park), Big T's lovely Cerbie and my little ol' S3.
The RO isn't really into computers, but someone, er usually Colin (Terminator), posts events on here so keep an eye out....
S3 Kieran said:To be fair, the day was changed in Sprint earlier this year but the TVRCC website entry needs updating (as do lots of other things on the website).

Last nights turnout was good with a varied bunch of cars. Pity I had to keep slowing down on the way home to allow a certain S3 to keep up...

Oi...... easy..... no dissing the TVR
I didn't know you were playing, until I came out of my daze/finished looking where I wasn't going etc
and you had shot off.
Thought you could have done better on the dual bit from M11 to Moathouse - pulled in far too early!
Mine sounded better than yours
Thanks for showing the back route out
- much better than the pot-holed chicane from Epping High Street: definitely won't be going that way again

Has to be the worst road in Epping that one!
Sorry to have missed last night, got in late from work and watched Grand Designs.
It was good to see/meet you all last night (S3 Kieran, Green Griff, Terminator, Dee-Jay) and others. I had a laugh.
Shame it's getting dark early though. The only thing I'd say about the meet is that maybe we should change the day so it doesn't clash with the BIKERS!!!
Paul & Kieran, I'll keep my promise about the drive in the Cerb at the next Mid Essex meet.
Hope you all got home safely.
