Porsche/Audi RS2 tips or for sale?
Discussion
I'm looking into swapping my 1993 Audi S4 for an Audi RS2, as the (ahem) "practical" car, in addition to a Porsche GTS and an MX5. A friend has a well sorted one and I'll be taking it out for a thras - um, er - "test drive" next weekend, which will make it a good back-to-back comparison with the RS2 a dealer in Bucks is getting in next week.
Has anyone got any good or bad personal stories about the RS2? Somewhat of a long shot, but has anybody recently come across any RHD RS2s for sale?

I nearly bought an RS2 instead of my Lotus Carlton. I found that many for sale didn't have their original spec drilled brake discs.
Never even test drove one in the end. Driven my dad's S2 a lot, and it is quite a tidy handler with decent build. Another 100 bhp over his would help, so the RS2 should do the business.
The engine is quite highly tuned, so make sure it all works properly. Don't go for a tuned one - sound like trouble.
Which dealer in Bucks? I'm not going to poach it from you, but would be interested to know.

It is a RHD one, but the price is a fair bit lower than £20k - given that Audi want £26k for the one they have in pearl white (eurgh!), I'm happy with the asking price depending on condition etc. Plus I'm told I can buy a warranty from Audi for £600 that is in fact worth the paper it's written on, which should help in negotiating the dealer price downwards.
