1971 TVR 2500 Vixen - Sound proofing/damping
Discussion
Am just about to get my 2500 Vixen body shell back onto the chassis following a paint job. In the short time that I drove this car before restoration it was very noisey inside - partly due to either missing or rotted sound proofing material and alot of holes in the floor and bulk head that were surplus to requirements.
Can anybody advise on what type of sound proofing material to use and especially where to use to limit vibration and noise before I start spending any dosh. I picked up a few catalogues such as Woolies and have some idea but what do your experiences tell you to do ?
Regards
Mike
