Hi all, have said hi to all on the Cerb forum but feel being such a special car a high to all owners of these special machines is well deserved, so here is my new beast that i have only driven for a week after I bought her from an avid TVR man, then as I live abroad am not back till later in September and cant wait to get back in her and see some of you guys on the road and make a meeting or two. I spend my time away looking at the pictures and smiling a lot at the memories I already have!

Thanks all and see you on the road

Hi Greenm,
Congratulations, she looks great.
My Tuscan spends most of its time in Germany while I flit about between Germany, the US and the UK so I know the "looking at photo's and video's" frustration side of owning a TVR.

By the way, do you need anyone to house sit in the Caribean for you while your in the UK ? biggrin

Thanks all, its funny when you own a TVR everyone wants to look after it and when you live in the Caribbean how many friends you have?? Luckly my older brother has always dreamed about owning one so now keeps it in his garage takes it for a walk on a sunny day and polishes it for me while I am away so has a good home thanks. Can always do a deal on house sitting out here though and if not have some pretty good contacts if you fancy a holiday in the sun?? See you on the road end of next month!!

yes it was Bill Dries, he is on Piston heads "greengoblin" great guy and sure new how to look after a car, history was he had it made to his spec then had to sell it Family!! then bought it back and had it for the past few years and now more family and so became the lucky owner did a swap for my M3 plus cash of course and at least he has something not too slow the family can fit in. Not sure on any spare stuff think he would have given it to me if he had anything? Yea sur is tough being out here although its sunny and cant go for a drive? Its sports exaust. decatted, suspension all upgraded and drives like a dream and fast yikes scares the S----t out of me but love every moment.

Glad you're enjoying the motor Michael thumbup
I still poke my head into the Tiv Forums from time to time to see how you're all doing. Although I miss my Cerb massively, I'm really starting to enjoy the M3 and starting to "get the M3 thing". She's an old girl but been well looked after - although I missed the sound of the Cerb so much, I had to have a Scorpion Exhaust fitted!! Anyway, hope to meet up with you again in the future.

Old Geezer - this one was on my 'must see' list in February when it was for sale but I got waylaid by the one I ended up buying. Glad you're enjoying it.

Hi Bobbin - Yes I do enjoy it very much!!

Was you going to travel all the way down to check it out?

It is going into APM next week for a suspension upgrade!

I suppose one of the problems with a one owner car is that he did not notice the gradual reduction in the shocks performance over the years.

As opposed to having many owners who may have upgrade as required.

Hi Donny

I decided on Gaz Golds as a mid spec shock.
Got to be better than my knackerd originals!
I know Nitrons are suposed to be better, but I'm not! wink

But I'm hoping the GEO setup will also help keep it a bit straighter.
Gets very lively at the momnet! smile

Are you going to the Austec 14th Sep Sunday open day?
If we can both get on the Dyno, you can laugh at my lower numbers!

Hi Steve. As I recall it was for sale in Kent towards the end of January, or was it Surrey? If so I had a good chat with the guy who was selling it. The plate is what rings the bell - think rear pix showed it's got quite a big bore on the exhaust?

I did a fair bit of travelling in the 18 months I was looking for the right one so would have happily come down - but my head was turned by the one I ended up buying and there was another one I was mulling over too at the time, so never made it.

I've upgraded my shocks too (Bilsteins were shot and weeping so got Protechs on now - much tighter).

Keep enjoying it!
