Just thought I'd post some of the pics I took whilst I was at RSPB The Lodge. No bird pics, my lens isn't amazing. C&C is appreciated.

Taken at the quarry area:

Taken in the garden behind the main reception building:

This one was taken on the way home, near Bedford:

Hi, your pics are technically okay, they just lack a little creative composure. The first pic you are photographing the cliff edge and tress which have a vertical trend, maybe shooting in a portrait format would have highlighted this a little more. the second, again, is technically okay is missing some magical light. This can usually be found early morning or early evening, but mid afternoon on a cloudy day is often missing. The third could be your best. Try cropping the road out and framing it around the group of trees. They look wonderful. You just want to tidy it up and have one focus point, the road and the distance at which the tress are make this difficult as they are so small, so maybe with the cropping out of the road, it will pull the tress in closer and make it a great pic.

Best of luck and keep shooting.

Thanks for the feedback, I think you really hit the nail on the head with the second one, I was rather disappointed with the light that day. The third one is indeed my favourite by far, though I would have liked to use a longer lens, but alas there wasn't one available! frown

Should of snapped some pics in the car park by the quarry. Always some exotica or classics here!

Nothing wrong with the pics but is there any chance you could resize them down a bit in future - 3.5MB per picture is a bit much to be posting on the interweb!

We parked in the alternate entrance - Where the shop is, so we didn't go to the main entrance for very long at all, plus we arrived at about 4 o'clock, so that wouldn't help :P
