Llandow circuit rare Tornado spotted

Actually it was the windy version!!! Yes a proper swirly wirly tornado was overhead the circuit yesterday & I've some pics to proove it too Never seen one before, we were up in the control tower & saw it coming towards us, stayed about for a good 5 or 10 mins too. Was proper oooh what do we do if it hits the ground as it was only a few hundred meters away.

One of the photographers yesterday has some better pics that I'll try & get up

Unfortunatly it isn't actually a Tornado, more a funnel cloud. It is only a tornado when it touches ground.
Anyway, it's a good picture and something that isn't seen often in the K.

Well if it moved 110 yards closer it would have touched the top of our heads in the control tower

Saw two of these at the Oxegen Festival in Ireland in July. Lifted one tent up to about 100ft. Amazing. Some of the Vids are on You Tube. (Sorry no links too lazy)
