Golf GTI to A4 Avant/ BMW Touring?

I'm thinking of chopping in our family car a Golf GTI 1.8T (Mk4 - 150bhp) for either:

- A4 S-Line Avant 1.8T (190bhp)
- BMW 330i Sport Touring (231bhp)

The Golf is OK for pace and space but feel the A4/BMW would be better.

Can anyone advise on either?

The Beamer for sure.

Whilst not the same engine, I have a 320d M sport tourer 177bhp.

The build quality, rear wheel drive and all round feel are excellent.

Ive had the audi equivalent, and its just not in the same league.

Gonna be even better with the 330i... would recommend M Sport though, for body kit
and chassis etc....

I would opt for the BMW too.

Beemer is the better car out of those two (And I sell 4-rings for a living!).
