What is it with him? I am watching him on TG now and was wondering what that is he does with his eyes and face. It's like he's always thinking of something to say. Do you know what I mean...and that is not meant to be some cockney colloquialism, is a serious question.

Yep. I feel for him when he has to put up with all the talentless ste that think they can impress. For every hour of the decent people who make it, he probably has to watch hundreds of hours of dross. Reminds me of when I recruited web designers. Everyone thought they were a web designer and the utter st in their portfolio would make Baby Jesus cry.

If you read Ben Elton's book "Chart Throb" - obviously the main character is based on Simon Cowell - I do now see Simon Cowell in a different light (Yes, I know that Elton's book is fiction, but it has still changed my view of Cowell to a degree!)

My opinions seem to mirror most of the other posters here - he can be seem a bit of a twunt, but tells it as it is and seems to know what he's talking about.
