Rear springs needed

Have the MOT all well (except for adivsoty for steering rack) but N/s rear spring in broken almost at the bottom, it can only be seen when wheel off and suspension at full droop (no comments or sniggers please) its OK to drive as its inside the lower mounting but obviously needs replacing.

The shockers are fine and the car is a delight to drive so I dont want to get new springs and shocks so obvious answer is a pair of used replacement springs - can anyone help please

Had the same problem so ended up buying two new ones, so still have one good one. car has only done 29,000 so spring should still be ok. Has come of an S3. Pretty rusty so needs a good derusting and paint. It's yours if you want it, could probably post it Tuesday.

tvr car part do them for £40 each they have some in stock as i was going to buy them but i have a pair of rear springs from a crx made by jamex and the car sits better than having the correct ones as it sits 17 inches from the centre of the wheel to the arch, looked like a tvr 4x4 (pants)

Starting to get complicated Adrian@ tells me S3 springs rated differently to S2 and advises an S2 spring required so I'm still looking.

Does anyone have experience of fitting S3 rear springs to an S2?
