electrical problem

My friend has a 07 Fr Ibiza TDi.

the alarm keeps going off and it wont allow her to lock it.

Is this a common fault and is there an easy fix ?

Door pin switch? (could be within the catch)

Control unit thinks a door is still open so will not allow it to lock?
what does the interior lamp do?

Ignition switch has a small switch in it to know when the key is in.

They can stick so the car still thinks you have the key in the ignition.
