Bit of a long shot as I need it asap.

Before I randomly ring up garages using the Yellow Pages can anyone recommend a TVR friendly MOT place.

Bit wary as the last garage I took my VX220 to blew up the radiator by just turning on the car and flooring the accelerator to get the engine warm.

I dread to think what that could do to a Speed 6!

Used him before and agree - 40 miles probably a bit excessive for an MOT though!!!

Might just find a random and stay there to ensure they warn it up kindly etc.

RG get my vote. Not had an MOT done with them, but I have no qualms leaving my car with them. Will be spending a very large wadge with them on an engine rebuild soon........

RG don't do their own MOT's - they source it out. Had a bad experience of this, however, they did correct their 'errors' free of charge. I would definately use RG again but not for MOT's

It seems to be MOT season - just about everywhere is booked up 10 days in advance. Want it for the w/e so need it quick.

I am reduced to taking it to a 'drive-in' centre tomorrow. Will oversea it myself and generally annoy them!

Wish me luck!

Racing Green look after my Griff but they don't do MOT's they get them done 100 yards down the road. That said, they obviously do lots of TVRs and I've never had a problem.

Have you called Henley Heritage TVR??

They outsource the MOT but I've always had a good service through them.

Good Luck

Grateful for a PM on this, as I expected to use them in for mine next April.
