Nice shots fp and some great panning going on there! What lens were you using for the panning shots?

Ok then, they're executed fine but not as interesting as these :-

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

or some of these

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

And that's the rub. A load of good photographers all go to the same event, take the same shots then want comments.

So they're fine. Be happy smile

Thanks smile got some more shots to post - just processing them at the mo..

Just the o'l 70-300mm. No 50mm panning im afraid frownbiggrin

Was looking at the 70-200L to replace it but now I'm wondering if I could really do without the 300mm reach.... might have to look at the 100-400L instead.

Cheers.

The guy was looking for comments/criticism, you know, to progress his skills. He wasn't looking for advice on what driver is a tit.

70-200L 2.8? 2x tele and it's the same quality as the 100-400L. I found that 100-400L wasn't always wide enough at times. Ok it'll be a fair bit of swapping around, but I bet that quite often you'll be using the 70-200 as is.

Let me know when you are heading up next, I'll bring the 100-400 and 70-200f2.8 for you to have a go.

Oh and they're all fine bar number 10 in reflection. The roof being cropped off just doesn't work for me. The rest are fine. Honest!
