I'm not really a fan of messing with the interior TBH. I like tasteful aluminium replacements for window winders, switches etc. that replace the plasic parts bin crap that com with the car but I feel carbon fibre accessories are a bit 'Max Power' - but each to their own. Fitting isn't difficult - it just sticks on.

ETA: When did the Mk Eleven Elise come out? I didn't even see the Mk Three! hehe

i see what you are saying, where the carbon thing would go is scratched a bit so it was just something to make it look a bit cleaner.

that does look quite cool, although the on the 135R everything is black alcantara with carbon look door panels and seats, I think we need a vote on it.... come on then !!!

they look stE!....

look, it's an Elise, not a Ferarri or the like, why do you think adding a bit of CF/Ali tat is a good idea?

If you are going to "mod" the gear lever, then I did this to mine (idea taken from the US Lotus forum).

I must add that it is quite fiddly do apply the paint - I used a cocktail stick, and that I did it a couple of years ago when I was bored as I was off work for 5 weeks with a broken elbow and couldn't drive the car, so decided to "tinker" with it instead!

Cheers, Jon smile

I'm sure you can get a kind of wax to do that which would be a lot easier than painting. I used to use it when manufacturing engraved push button panels - in the times before touch screens smile
