Gen 6 GT aka ST202 (model number)
Looks tidy, I used to have the ST which is the 1.8 version, slightly torquier bottom end but the GT is quicker top end.
Currently have shared drivership of the 4WD 2.0 turbo version of yours, the GT4 aka ST205 and I used to also own a gen 7 140.
Top cars.

great stuff thaks for your help on that one bint i need new shocks on the back and i am struggeling to find a good price .the car is in fairly good nick its got the usall stone chips and the drivers side wing is bent but it still goes like the clappers which i am still getting used to coming from a mark4 astra 1.4 ls not the most powerfull but still a nice car to own and drive
Ahhhhhhhhhhh it *is* a GT but it's an import right?
In that case, you'll need to check what version - there are 3, SSI is without Superstrut suspension, SSII usually don't but it was an option...and SSIII always have superstrut suspension.
Best thing you can do is give www.cheaptoyotaparts.co.uk a call and speak to them. You may need to speak to a Toyota dealership for part numbers, but they're usually so useless when it comes to imports..... Best bet, get on to the Celica Club and search the Wiki pages for part numbers and ask for advice if not there - plenty of members with one of the above models can help you. (take a wheel off and take a picture may help....)
KYB shocks are the standard Toyota shock manufacturer so that may be another route to take also.

thanks for that mate but its a britsh model gt with a square plate on it with a long plate on the back,i think someone told me it was the st182 not sure though hence the problem with parts
That's where my confusion came from - was looking at the front only and assuming.Defo an ST202 then, with normal suspension etc. An ST182 is the previous generation with the pop up lights.
