I own an E36 EVO with the smg gearbox, drove it today and noticed the dashboard led diplay was fragmented, I thought display board had failed, however I stoped to refuel, re-started ignition and display operates perfectly, any ideas ?? confused

I know dropped pixels are a problem on E39's, not sure about E36's. Mine never did when I had one.
It might be a sign that your pixels are failing.
