There are a few references on these forums to 'The Bible'.

As a newcomer to TVR, I'm currently looking at purchasing a Chimaera, you must excuse my ignorance.

Can someone please enlighten me...

The 'Bible' seems to be the font of all knowledge, but what is the 'real' title.

Thanks

Tim (sits back and awaits flaming)

Tim, no need to await flames mate... we all start as a newbie at some point.

The "Bible" is the name given to the books produced by Steve Heath (shpub on here!) which are like a Haynes manual for TVR's... only better (IMHO).

Available from the TVRCC... and many will agree, they can be a real life saver!

I'm currently getting excited about the prospect of buying my first TVR. Bought my copy of the 'bible' a month or so ago and haven't put it down yet!
It is providing me with an excellent insight to what owning a Chim or Griff is all about, as well as plenty of useful bits to help me find the right car. Then, when I have it, all the things I need to know to keep it in good order.
Go and buy it now!

I found that prospective sellers visibly shuddered when I approached them clutching it...

Just like they would if I'd approached them with the REAL bible
