Fog light warning light

After a full strip down and body off rebuild, car has failed MOT because there is no fog lamp warning light. I didn't even know it had one. Have had a look at the dashboard warning light panel and can't see one that looks as though it is for the fog lights. Car is S3 with small panel between clocks. Is there a warning light for the fogs in there or should it be somewhere else.

The warning light is part of the foglight switch in the small panel in the centre console and (IIRC) it is lit by a feed from the main light box (uses a number of reflective tubes to transfer light from a light cylinder [basically a cyclinder with several bulbs arranged around the top and a light tube on each one] to each of the switches). I assume of course that you have the square TR7 switches (like mine) and not the round rotary ones (fitted to some of the earlier S3s), if you have the latter type then sorry but I haven't a clue!!

Sorry should have said, mine are the earlier three rotary switches in the centre panel.

Sorry my post was not of any help, but you can be sure of one thing only - each TVR is different!!

The fog light warning light is in the light panel above the steering wheel. It is the light to the left of the indicator light.

Edit to say that mine is the rotary switch version.
