How do I do it?

It's driving me insane, any tips, or am I going to have to wrestle the seats out?

Drive "quite" fast on a straight bit of road.... brake hard... avoid the trees/pavement... collect coins from footwell/the ridge right in front of the seats.

long plastic rule or, if not a steel rule with some double sided sticky tape wrapped on the end. Saves taking out the seats.

Pied,

This is a claw type pick up tool by Snap-On, but there's plenty of cheap copies.

http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?P65=&t...

Press the button and 4 claws emerge from the other end of the flexable section.

Release the button and they retract, gripping anything in between the claws.

You should have one in your workshop anyway for when you drop a nut into some tiny crevice, or coins under seats.

I'll stick mine in the car for you the next time I'm up the pub.

I got the euro out. Fitted a new head unit yesterday and looked down to see the coin just sticking out from the seat, bit of gaffa tape and a long screwdriver later the coin was safely in my pocket.

Thanks for all the tips, and thanks to Uncle Fester for popping over yesterday, sorry I wasn't about catch up for a beer soon.
