Just to let everyone my father is in email contact with, that he and my sister were involved in an RTA earlier this evening. Although he is fine, my sister is giving some cause from concern and he will not, obviously, be in a hurry to talk about speeding, sportscars, amusing bad driving etc. for the time being.

As of this morning dad is out of hospital having suffered only bad bruising and a few minor cuts.
Four years ago my sister suffered serious head injuries in a riding accident, which she is still recovering from. After the RTA she briefly lost consciousness giving serious cause for worry. Fortunately the neurological exam and CT scan were both OK so we are hopeful that her recovery will not have been impeded.
My dad is taking her to London as soon as she is released from hospital to see the specialists who handled her condition after the initial accident and ensure no further harm has been done.

Jaydee: I'm truly sorry to hear the bad news from your father and sister. We always get sad when somenone has a bad accident, but it his a lot sadder when it happens to someone who loves driving so much, and belongs to the most interesting family in Pistonheads!
Hope this won't take away his love and care about cars, but firstly, hope it doesn't cause any more problems to your sister.
