We're currently putting together a buying guide on the S2 Exige and need someone to star in the 'I bought one section'. We need about 200 words on your life with the car - why you got it, how its been, any problems, what you use it for, mileage, plans for the future etc and we'll need a mugshot of yourself too.

Also as we're compiling as much detail as possible we're keen to here of any advice you might give a potential purchaser.

Please email me at rogerg@evo.co.uk

Many thanks,
Roger Green

Incidently, when are you going to do one on the little ol' S1 Elise? Great value now and the privately owned long termer seems to have disappeared (the owner seemd to also be happy to ay waaaaaaaaaay opver the odds to get work doneyes
I could give you chapter and verse on three years of a middle age man's love affair with the world's best sports car which was built by a bunch of farmers in a shed in Norfolk!!

That's a shame, i parted with Richard Meaden's old KG exige S2 to fund my new one in February. I've sent a link to this thread to the proud new owner of FNM (a PH regular & avid evo reader of course).

They did do an S1 buying guide in one of the very early issues but it would be nice to see the subject revisited as obviously a lot of the info is now no-longer relevant.

Hi everyone,

Many thanks for the emails I've been sent, it's all been very helpful. I've now chosen the subject matter - cheers Tony. For info the feature is currently flat-planned for the issue after next. Hope you enjoy it!

Just further to this. I've just picked up a copy of Performance Car from the esso garage down the road. Haven't even opened it yet but on the cover it says that there is a 13 page Elise S1 buying guide.

Or the girls clothes store...? I am sure a nice summer dress would make a lovely picture in evo.
