S1 Exige Honda
Discussion
Hello chaps,
As some of you may be aware I put my beloved S1 Exige into the trusting hands of Andy and Wayne at Sinclaire's to have the SC Honda fitted and have eagerly awaited its return.
Now i have stopped enjoying it for the past few weeks and lived haha I thought id post some pictures up as i am sure some of you may be interested:
I may see you soon on some track days when I can afford the tyres once the credit card has been cleared a bit...
I have used these pictures to send to the insurance company to get my agreed value sorted so apologies if some of them are repetitive...
You can see from my profile page the current list of modifications, the only mod that has not been fitted yet is the rear part of the charge cooler which should be completed in approx 4-5 weeks by sinclaires...
Finally then, a massive thank you to all that participated on the car at Sinclaire's, its an amazing car that i will enjoy hopefully for many years to come!! You are all an absolute joy to talk to and always very helpful and informative when needed...

Very bling. Did you get a deal on the stickers? Bit overdone if you ask me, but if you like it, fair play.
I wanted more of a unique race like finish
I got a few pennies off for the vinyl design, eventually will take the stealth approach but thought id try this first... Make no mistake, im no chav honestly

Very very nice. What sort of performance figures is it knockking out now then?? 0-100 etc
errrr very quickly
I dont have time to look down buddy, i hardly have enough time to change gear before the rpm needle spins round to the limit to change up again... It scares me

LOL ...what you want Dan is a Racelogic Performance Box, just sit it on the dash and have some fun - it will record all your stats for you
if you are good at shifting, a nice dry day, then an SC Honda car should be doing 0-100 in 9secs without too much hassle...if you are really good and practice a lot then mid 8s are possible in a road going car on road tyres which is pretty much quicker than most things one could actually afford
0-60's should be 4secs without trying, and mid to high 3's when you get good at it ....

Im sure you chaps that have this type of car are used to it by now, ive no idea how though, there is just so much power, torque more than anything. Great thing about it though is its not like a turbo whereby it may catch you out, the power delivery is so smooth and expected you know what the car is doing around you, cant speak highly enough of Sinclaire's for the job they have done!!
All i know is this car could so easily get you into trouble, started raining last night when i took it for a spin so i limped home about 20mph to put it to bed before the banshee in the back wanted to start screaming again

LOL.... I agree its a bit... in yer face. But then, if you can back the talk with the walk, then I guess it don't really matter.
Ive still got to learn to try and drive this monster to anywhere near its capability, may have to book some walshy days...
