Was it possible to have a Golf GTi with the DSG gearbox without the steering wheel paddles?

Sorry if a strange question.

Some of the adverts are confusing - they mention paddles but then the steering wheel in the pics dont seem to have any ! I wonder if paddles and buttons are sometimes 'confused'.

Yes - I have one. Doesn't bother me as I never used the paddles on my RS6....
