8 Second '90 ZR-1 in Staines

Thanks for the warm welcome, Cliff. I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing your ZR-1 in action as I've heard so much about it.
By the way are you planning to head up to the Pod when you get the Beast back? If so maybe we could round up a few of us and head up there for one of the RWYB meets.

Richard,
I kinda suspected it was gonna be 1/8th ET, but yes, it did get my attention.
A ZR-1 in Staines/Basingstoke, blimey I had mine while I was in Ashford (Middx not Kent) up until recently.
Cliffie,
Long time no hear buddy, how you doing?
Got the hang of that big ole 415 yet?
Say hi to Joe for me please.
Brett,
No, you're not the only Z not in Basingstoke.
I was based near Staines till recently.
Now moving to Spain.
BTW I recognised you from your ZR-1 Net posts, I'm in lurker mode there but a few of the guys know me from previous regular visits to ZR-1 Gathering. Not been for a while though.
John.
90 Z 368, little left of the original car!

Hi JT,
How is life in Russia? Whereabouts in Spain are you moving to? Costa Del Dosh?
Ha ha... Good to hear from again, Cliff.
I got a place not far from Malaga, approx 30 mins inland.
Russia's not too bad, if you know what I mean
Except another winter is coming in, oh well.

I'm in Kent, Cliff and Joe are in B/stoke
Hi Gixer, garden of England eh, good, beats the hell out of choked up Middlesex.
FWIW, great posts to the Net, those guys know almost everything over there don't they.
Then for the hard questions I usually ask Geoff.
I've known Cliff and Joe for a few short years now, just never had the chance to get down to B'stoke to run them since my car was finished-ish.

Hi John
Greetings from sunny Staines.
How about posting some piccies of you and the 'winged warrior' in Spain to cheer us up on those long rainy winter nights...
Thanks Richard.
The car's still with Geoff at the moment.
I do have some shots from this year at LM.
It was the mutt's nuts doing the circuit on the Saturday before the race.
And a few shots from Knebbers when GJ took my car along.
What I really want is a copy of the vid stream that Richard (GJ's brother) took of my hooligan burn out during the town parade at LM.
I believe it makes for good footage!
I need to find a good way to upload the jpegs on the internet.
John
