Might be a stupid question, but I seem to be doing a fair few miles just now, and my headunit has the option to add on a bluetooth kit, but would it be worth it? Think the kit is about £70.

Anyone got one? Can you have a conversation while sitting at 70mph?

I have tried the headset things, but felt like a right plank!

Just clips to your sunvisor with a magnet, so you can swith between cars if needed. Quality is spot on, and not install needed

I can't even hear the passenger.

The wife has even given up trying to talk at me while I'm enjoying myself.

Ok thanks, I take it they are pretty simple to install? Is there an easy place to feed wires through from the back of the headunit? Ie for the microphone etc

I have a bluetooth rear view mirror, it can be used in any car and I use it in the Cerbera, it also has an ear piece if you want to use that, or you can use the in built FM transmitter to play through your cars speakers, plenty on eBay.

Drastic perhaps but my CD player/radio has Bluetooth built in.

Conversations are still a struggle over the noise though.

Yeah thats what I was wondering, my current Head unit has a port to plug in a Bluetooth kit in, but wondered how it was for having a conversation..
