Guys,

I need to calibrate the monitor on my aluminium imac and I have been thinking of getting something like the Pantone Huey Pro which seems to get good reviews (http://www.photographyblog.com/reviews_huey_pro.php ) and isn't too expensive.

However, I am concerened that the glass screen on the imac will result in the sensor being some distance away from the lcd display itself which is behind the glass and the effect this will have on calibration. I have emailed pantone but haven't had any reply.

Has anyone run into this problem before - any advice appreciated.

I've used the spyder pro 3 on my screen and you stick it onto a central area and the area it uses is quite large, larger than the device so for colour if its the same I dont see it as a big issue- dependig on ambient light.
