Evening All,

I'm wondering if anyone knows of anywhere who is recruiting IT Enginners at the moment? I have 4 years experience supporting a variety of systems, i also have a MCP in server 2003. If anyone knows of anything please do let me know and i can send my CV over.

Many Thanks

Dan

There are colleges churning out 18 year olds with full MCSEs now. They were devalued before, they are heading down a ski slope now frown

BTW (and I am NOT having a dig, I realise dyslexia is a problem) please remember how to spell Engineer.

(Another case of how the term Engineer has been incorrectly adopted for a technician qualification in order to aggrandise it).

And was that directed at the person trying to offer you advice or yourself for not being able to spell?

I really can't imagine why you can't get work. Can you?

So go on then Dan, what do you believe are the key attributes that make a good IT engineer?

I'm an IT Recruitment Consultant and if that was me you where talking to I'd put the phone down. Welcome to the real world mate, if that was directed at a person trying to help you, you'll get no were in life. My spellings pants but I don't mind people correcting me, infact I'd prefer if they do as you soon learn.

+1. I'm an I.T. director and have five engineers working on my team. One thing that seems to pass some people by is that being a good IT engineer is about a lot more than just 'fixing computers'.... (attitude is high on the list)

Welcome to the mad house.

Keep your chin up, stay out of trouble, and make sure your spelling is up to scratch and you'll fit in just fine. wink
