Hi

I have just taken the plunge and px`ed my Elise for a 2001 Tuscan Red Rose with about 15000 miles on the clock. It was love at first sight.

I just have a few questions now i have had the car for a couple of days.

First of all does anyone know of a good place for servicing etc in Birmingham or the midlands area.

Also what is the normal oil/water temp/pressure once warmed up mine seems to run at 89/90 water all of the time and i just wanted to check this was ok.

Also if anyone can reccomend a good paint shop i want to get the stone chips done, I will get a few pictures up at some point

Thnaks for any help, and if anyone has any other handy tips please give me a shout as.

I'm over in Oldbury, but use TVR Power in Coventry for servicing/repairs.

Paintwork.... I use Ewelme Coachworks near Wycombe.

wavey by the way smile

Welcome to the fold.

Water temp fine. Fan cuts in at 92 I believe. Oil pressure when hot will be around 50-60 psi normal running, possibly higher, and 10-12 psi on Tickover, depending on engine wear, oil type and idle setting.

Check out speed six forum for more details, but don't get into a panic over rebuilds. Despite the hype, the forum is a quiet place of late.
