Hmmm,
Hi all, Just having a look around your little corvette forum and as per usual misinformation is rife on the net.
The corvette in question has NO Ligenfelter Mods at all.
It actually has work done by DRM (Doug Rippie Motorsports). Has got a DRM 450 top end and a 150hp shot of nitrous. At least he did have when the video was shot.
I believe Erics car is now supercharged.
Anyway, check it all out www.temp.corvetteforum.net/c5/99z51r
Regards
Andy

You can buy the kit in USA, but you have to send your car to LPE (Lingenfelter Performance Engineering). Don't worry about the fact that your car is hundreds or so miles away, because LPE is a very trustworthy and friendly tuner (just check CorvetteForum and/or Z06Vette will prove the amount of good comments this tuner has got - he is a legend within the Corvette tuning, well the overall and general Corvette, world). Unfortunately, he suffered serious injuries in a drag racing crash (he has proven himself on the drag strip), and his condition was made worse as he was given medication that he was allergic to, which the doctors had no awareness of - link to latest news on the bottom of the LPE homepage. The most powerful kit from LPE is the 427TT (7 litres Twin Turbos), which makes 725bhp - boost adjustable to 1100hp, is driveable on an everyday basis (for a customer review, go to www.z06vette.com > hot rides), can handle (even on the stock suspension system), and the best bit is:
0-60 mph - 1.97 seconds
0-100 mph - 4 seconds
1/4 mile - 8 seconds
This was recorded with no nitrous, full street interior trim, street-legal road tires, poor quality fuel, in the rain, and the car was pulling a caravan.
As for DSM, well that means Diamond Star Motors, and is available only in the USA. I believe it was an alliance between Mitsubishi, Plymouth and Dodge.
