Friend of mine asked me to help him out with some candid shots at a wedding he was doing today. Here's a few I was quite happy with - more here:

I really like them all! number two has a great, natural expression! only number one of them i felt was nice but needed a slight punch in terms of contrast, its personal preference though smile

ETA side by side smile

Hope you don't mind me showing my opinion, i find it easier than saying it! non edited on the left edited on the right smile

Nice one, what did you do? I'm not very good with Photoshop!

PS - 40D back yet?

Ah, just a brightness and contrast boost, slight saturation increase and brightness, can literally be done in less than a minute, i tend to do it for all my photos!

40D, Well it was sent yesterday, slight delay and will be arriving monday, bit annoying but i will update when it returns! Lets hope i get a complimentary clean etc and the details of what was wrong!

Personally I'd replace the 45 degree 'my tripod has broken' look with some fill-flash, but I'm just a conservative smile

Speedlite is my next purchase to hide from the wife smile Presume you are referring to the other shots on Flickr - can't really see how fill flash would help any of the ones I posted but happy to be enlightened.

Oh, and I like the wonky look paperbag
