quality vs quantity lenses

Five hundred of the Bank of England's finest are coming my way shortly, when I thought it wa sonly going to be £250. Oh Joy !

So do I go for the Sigma 10-20mm + Canon 70-300 mm
OR
the canon 70-200 mm f4L. ?????
