A chum of mine has a Tuscan supposedly campaigned by one 'Spotty' Smith in the 70's in sprints and hillclimbs. Does anyone know much about him or his exploits?

Far be it for me to burst in on a matrimonial. It must be me age - I think I previously knew that Tony Bancroft and Spotty Smith were one and the same. According the the web he then went on to hillclimb a McLaren M10B which must have been a tad attention focussing!

My mate's TVR has a Holman and Moody engine - wonder if it came out of the GT40?

Not much to show - engine's on a pallet and the chassis looks a bit flimsy with a repair or two. Car was on the TVRCC stand at the Ally Pally show a couple of years ago - but I don't think anyone realised what it was
