starter solenoid wire goes where?

Anyone happen to know where the wire to the start motor solenoid comes out of the loom? I can see it disappearing inside the firewall but haven't found the far end yet. Anyone know?

Black and red from solenoid changes inside loom and exits the loom as a white and red to (from) the ignition switch as Colin says...

but it also shows on the diagram as going to the cold and hot start controls... not sure where they exit the loom ?

I assume it goes via the factory alarm, perhaps that's where the colour change occurs.

OOPS just realised you are talking about "the dark side" ( a V8 ) whereas i was looking at the V6 - sorry... wire appears to be white and red at the starter as Colin said originally...

I suppose the clue was in your name

Thanks for that. Looks as if I'll have to check back through the wiring at the switch, maybe bypass some of the alarm systems and see whether that helps.
