Just a quickie...

What do you folks use to clean the leather dash in your cars? I tried using the Autoglym 2 part stuff but the dash has gone hideously blotchy, rather like the back of my ex wifes legs

Any suggestions most appreciated as I'm getting to the "Oh God I've ruined it!!" stage...

Hi, try Halfords, they do a leather cleaner & conditioner kit - works fine on the Chimaera dash and trim, smells nice too.

Gliptone, leather care stuff they advertise in the back of most classic car mags, its greast stuff makes the leather smell really like leather, not cleaning agent.

Buy her a nice pair of trousers or jeans or black tights.

Absolutely agree. The best stuff I've found to date. I use the G12 cleaner about once a year and the G11 conditioner every 3-4 months. Not only does it smell good, the conditioner dries to a matt finish rather than that shiny vinyl-like effect you get with most other products.

I use the Autoglym AND the Gliptone Liquid Leather. No problems with either. But then, my 390 is 16 years old: a good rub with a felt-tip pen would be an improvement.
