GTF Sagaris GT on the pace at Silverstone Britcar
Discussion
Just got off the phone to Fred, Tim, Steve and Dave at Silverstone and they have said testing has gone very well. The car has been out throughout the days testing sessions and had had no significant issues.
They've had to lift ride height a touch (the downforces have incresed due to the increase speeds) and the only other issue seems to be that they are driving a car with OOooodles more power...and its the first time they have raced this year! Scarey
The car is sharp and sticky, and the engine awesome and free reving, so things look good for tomorrow.
I'll be there to cover it for you, but why not come along and support 2 TVRs kicking some Porker / Fezza butt whilst hassling those Moslers!

Thanks to everyone for their support both on the forums and at the circuit. TVR's generate huge enthusiasm and passion from all those involved with them and Silverstone was no exception.
Unfortunately on this occasion, the Racesport Sagaris didn't make it to the race and whilst we were optimistic, we knew from its first real outing in testing at Silverstone, that we'd have a few things to iron out. The Team worked relentlessly and sorted all bar one of the little issues that cropped up and we just hoped we'd be able to cope with that on race day. What we weren't expecting was the diff breaking loose from its mounting with such force that it pulled away from the chassis rail too, even their valient efforts with the mig welder the Team weren't going to solve that one on the day.
However, it was a very positive first ever outing, not being too far off the pace without a set up fully sorted and old tyres on the car. There's lot to come from this beast, we just have to be a little patient in the process.
Once again thanks to everyone who helped and supported.
