My battery died last night... at a petrol station... with a load of builders filling up at the same time. You can imagine the banter that followed bearing in mind 1. it's an Exige and 2. It's bright bloody green. bdswink

Anyway - I'm pretty sure the battery is well and truely dead as it's died a fair few times recently despite going on long runs to charge it. What should I replace the battery with? Is it just a matter of going to Halfords and saying "new battery please" or do I need something a bit more high tech for the Exige?

Sorry for the lack of basic knowledge on these things - i haven't needed a new battery before confused

Halfords battery should do it, AFAIK they come with a good warranty as well. Once they've gone completely dead, they never really hold their charge again properly, had it happen with my last car frown Happening in my 111R as well, because it was a garage queen before I got it.
