Couldn't find a thread about this so thought I'd start one, sorry if there already is one but the search didn't turn anything up. I personally can't wait for this to come out, looks like a cross between two of my favourite game of the last couple of years, Oblivion and Bio Shock. Anyone else looking forward to it??

i'm not so sure, I loved oblivion, wasnt so sure about bioshock...

this looks, well, very bioshock + every other FPS with a I am legend theme..

It will be more like Oblivion than Bioshock, think more along the lines of Mad Max than I am Legend, there will be the obligatory black biker jacket as one of the first outfits you'll find, sawn-off shotguns, irradiated mutants, buxom wenches and general adult themes, all mixed up with a shed load of gore.

Even though the older games were isometric and fairly basic looking, they were seriously gory, especially with the 'bloody mess' perk, I can remember one mutant dissolving in the most spectacular fashion after a lengthy firefight:

but thats no excuse for just doing the same as everyone else...

though from what Steve says, it sounds like it might actually be good - assuming its big and long enough?

On the video he suggests around 100 hours of play, make of that what you will, but there will be over 200 different endings for it, so a fair amount of replayability.

On the video he suggests around 100 hours of play, make of that what you will, but there will be over 200 different endings for it, so a fair amount of replayability.

Also read that the main story only makes up 20% of the total game so there's loads of other things to do, I'm not going to be doing much work come October when it's out!
