360 help

My stepson's 360 has got very noisy in the last couple of days. Being a Playstation man, I know nothing about them. Sounds like the fan or something. Any ideas?? Is this normal?

Yes, they're pretty noisy.

The fan is probably working harder in the warmer weather so keep it as well ventilated as possible.

It may also have gathered some dust so hoover the air vents to make sure they're clean.

Sounds like it's getting too hot, make sure it's properly ventilated. It could just be the warmer weather.

The fans are variable speed so as it gets hotter they work harder.


BTW soon you'll be able to copy games to the HDD and stop the DVD rom noise...

I'm starting to worry about mine now the Summer is (sort of) here. RROD is more likely, and it makes my bedroom hit 40 degrees at night with my PC & Xbox on - not nice to sleep in. My A/C unit is too noisy for night usage too.
