If anyone wants paint I have just found the most amazing paint shop. They are currently restoring a 1 million Ferrari.Top notch guys with passion and only work on on this sort of car etc

Full paint job with colour change if required £2800 +VAT and materials so not bad considering the qualityn of the job you will get.

I'm not sure that'd be legal nono Best to get yerself down the shop and buy one, or if times are hard you could stand in WH Smiths with the great unwashed and read it, if they say anything blame it on the price of petrol as you skidaddle out of the door.

Is it a Haymarket publication though? That might be kinda ironic...

Flattering that you think we may be part of Haymarket, but we are in fact a small, independent publishing company. You're right, it would be illegal to scan the magazine and post it on a public forum but, more to the point, being a tiny company every £3.95 is important to us! A lot of effort goes into producing each issue of the mag.

By all means peruse the mag in Smiths but, better still, I hope that anyone new to CKC magazine enjoys what they see enough to buy a copy thumbup

Well justified Adam, I will personally go down to Smiths today and shell out the necessary for your Ultima supporting publication. Having run a number of newsagents in the past I can assure you that I poured scorn on the lurkers at the back of the shop, as well as old coffee as I bumped into them by accident...

The great unwashed smell, and sometimes they smell of coffee coffee

I don't have any problems purchasing a copy but I'm located in the US. Not sure, if your magazine's available here in the states.

Good point.
On that basis perhaps Adam may be able to email you a copy of the article rather than post it here.

It's certainly worth a look, the mag is pretty good too and of a decent thickness for your £3.95.

I'm not sure I'd like to spend £6k's on paint, no wonder he feels he can't leave it anywhere. However the nitrous got me thinking scratchchin

i dont think the nitrous is connected if i remember rightly, i think it is there to look nice.

the magazine has improved massively in recent months now it is under new leadership and i agree well worth a subscription.

It says in the mag that it's got a 100bhp shot of nitrous and although the pipes and solenoid look like they're there, you may well be right, he wouldn't be the first...

I was talking this guy at Stoneleigh, he assured me he only had to hit the 'Go' button inside the cockpit to let loose the NO²
He also told me that when he built the engine he assumed the Guy who had done some grit blast work (?) had cleaned out the oilways, big mistake. The engine digested itself after a few miles.

Here's a couple of photos I took on the day

The magazine is available in the States via out website (although obviously there is the additional cost of shipping). It's the August cover-dated issue that contains the Ultima, which will be available online shortly. http://www.completekitcar.co.uk/
