Hey photo guys!!

I need help!

I need to put together a little 'thing' to remember a mate by.

There is a song that i want to put on a DVD with photos and video shots with the song as background music.

Is there cheap software I can purchase that will simply do it for me?

And I have videos on video camera tape/s that I need to put on my PC and place that in the ‘project’

Where do I start?

I have limited technological know how!!!!

If you have windows XP, the free software that comes with that (Windows Movie Maker) is a pretty good start, and should do most things you need. Will need to get the videos in digital format first though.

What format video are they in? DVD/VHS/MINI-DV/Hi-8?

whichever way (apart from DVD) you'll need some form of import process.. PC world stock video capture devices relatively cheaply that'll do the importing of the video for you, you just need to hook up a video input for them..
