Buying advice

I'm looking to buy a weekend car that may see a trackday now and then but not much.

I've narrowed the list down to a TVR Cerbera or Noble M12.

After reading some of the Cerbera forums I'd all but ruled the TVR out due to the reliability issuses even though it seems the 4.5s are much better than the 4.2s but then I found out that a lot of information is available for when things do go wrong.

1. The engine managment software is freely available.
2. Full wireing diagrams are available.
3. There's good information about where a lot of parts originally came from. (starter=Nissan etc.)

For me, having access to this sort of information takes away alot of the worry and effects my choice of car.

After reading some posts on the Noble forums I'm left in no doubt that they are an amazing car but I'm worried about my options when things go wrong. I'd don't like the possibility of not knowing what the fault is simply because information is not available.

So my question is, is any of the above (1,2,3) available for the M12?

I get the impression that the Nobleparts forum may have some of this information but I can't join until I've bought a Noble so I can't be sure.

the US build manual has wiring diagrams plus loads of info. it is available of a post on noble parts.

nobleparts has loads of parts info, plus a post on here usually brings a pretty quick answer.

the software is also floating around somewhere (might also be NP)

to be honest i wouldnt worry too much about passage of information, i am in germany and rely on the forums and nobleparts plus the us forum to get all the info i need and havnt come unstuck yet

Further to Sean's post, I had mine in Spain for 2 years without problems...there aren't many bits you can't get over counter (Ford, Vauxhall etc.) and bespoke Noble parts can be got through a dealer (these are few and far between too)
