Really want to know where I can get the black headlight covers. Any suggestions welcome.

Cheers

If you're having trouble tracking them down, a set of the clear ones (from, eg, eliseparts.com) and repeated application of a dark smoke tint spray will have the same effect (and potentially be just as illegal for the roadwink )

That would be my new car. I have no idea where the head light covers came from.

But the car is excellent and is a real hoot to drive.

Have you checked the legality of those headlight covers? I don't know, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if there is a maximum amount of tinting allowed like with windscreens.

mmmm...so most people are upgrading the sub-standard Elise lighting and fitting HIDs or such like, but you feel that some nice black covers would work better ? ...do you drive at night at all ?wink

Daft, chav idea IMHO, and potentially illegal.

I personal wouldn't have put them on myself. But I can't be arsed to change them as the inside bit of the body has been painted black as well. So If I change them to clear they will look stupid. The front number plate is illegal and the police pulled the previous owner and they did say anything about the tinted lights. The car also passed its MOT a couple of weeks ago. I may change them when I get the clam repainted. As I've been and brought a lotus touch-up pen and the colour doesn't really match. Can anyone recommend someone to respray the front clam who's located around High Wycombe Bucks.

Tommy,

I got some scandal touch up paint from chips away in maidenhead, seemed to match ok. Not sure if they would spray the clam as they only do small scuffs etc... Give Justin a call on 07770470463, say Richard at Charters gave you the number. (Car looks excellent by the way!!!)

Friend of mine had a scandal S160 with covers like that, they were provided by Panelwise. Couldn't see a thing at night with them.

Edit: From the description looks like it's the same car - owned by Rob then Hazel aka Dot.
