The car in front ... is in the bloody way!

Anyone noticed that moreand more frequently the car blocking your perfectly reasonable desire to "make progress" is none other than a Toyota (subset of "Numpty"!)

Is that what the adverts were getting at?

Phil, more and more drivers see it that way. I get a real kick out of driving my wife's RAV4. It is not meant to pass BMWs or anything much else, and the reactions when it does range from disbelief to apoplexy, plus one instance of total road rage!

RAVs are fun - I've wound the thing up to an indicated 120 (downhill). Toyota manufacture super speedometers.....

I find the Metro's tend to be head of the queue, and no else one has the bottle to overtake.

It must be really weird to drive around, and NEVER catch up with anyone.

McNab - you're a brave man! I have always been a litle leery of Ravs after seeing one roll after clipping the kerb of a roundabout at about 10 mph....scared me and I wasnt even in it!

Did a biking holiday round europe a decade or so ago. Comming down into Italy from the Alps I must have passed 15-20 'Machismo' red blooded italians (many in dancing donkeys). You should see the gestures you get as you cruise past on you bike..... push bike that is.

I can usually get aroung most things pretty quickly by waiting for a quiet stretch and nailing it in 2nd. Shouldn't be any trouble for those of you in tvr's!

Well at least we don't generally get too many flatlander (NL) cars here. The one thing I noitced driving in Holland & Germany was that these cars had seemingly enormous blindspots.

When the car that's in front is the car, that until a split second ago was in the slow lane inches away from being overtaken, it's rather alarming.

Is this an unfair stereotype?

Digga, fair stereotype!! I was near Interlaken overtaking a yellowplated flatlander and the bugger just pulled right to stop me overtaking. Needless to say with his (toyota) he was in the wrong lane after I'd passed but only just! SCARY!!!!
