Hi folks,

for those that don't know, the Brighton Speed Trials are a series of drag races on Madeira Drive (the seafront) in Brighton. There are quite a lot of historic and modern cars and bikes. The best feature for me is that you can either view for free from Marine Parade, or for the entrance fee, you can walk the pits and stand next to the cars in the staging area. 2 years ago I stood 3ft from an F40 doing a rolling burnout!

Anyway, it's an excellent day out. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a Post Trial meet?
I'm thinking of the Black Lion Pub on the A23 as you leave Brighton.
There's an event in the Pistonheads calendar here:
www.pistonheads.com/members/calendar/displayEvent.asp?id=3025

The event is for the speed trials, please register your interest in the meet here.

Theres a group of us coming down from SE London & I have just put a thread on here www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=55680&f=13&h=0

We met at Peas Pottage last year & it worked really well, I have only just put this on PH but we managed about 20 TVR's last year. Interested?

Thanks Nick,

I'm up for whatever time, pre or post trials. One of the reasons I suggested the Black Lion is that it is an ideal start point for exchanging rides. There's Mill Hill within a few hundred yards, plus Ditchling Beacon is only 5 mins away...sort of a mini mountain pass in the style of the beginning of the Italian Job!

I can't promise to scare anyone with only 165bhp, but the Ferrari does sound the part, and I'd love to experience these roads in a TVR
