Anyone got a spare MG club ,a French SpridgetClub (Amicale?), a general or non-club classic car park pass to spare? Promised son we'd be infield on the Bugatti Circuit with other classics but as yet no pass.Usual bribes offered i.e.cash,beer,pies,wine or combination of said goodies. Thanks.

There is a message on one of the Triumph sites offering this sort of thing in exchange for an alternative parade lap time

Might be worth contacting ?-

As a current member of the TSSC I am very pleased to see that there will be a strong contingent of Triumphs present at the Le Mans Classic this year.

For myself I have organised another party from the Speedster Club also to visit LMC 2008.

My problem is that despite requesting parade laps sessions for both Friday afternoon (2) and Saturday morning (24), I have now received them all 26 for Saturday morning at 9:40am. Consequently for those intending to share a car and do two lap sessions this is now not possible for them.

If anyone would like to swap their parade lap session (8:30am I believe) for a later session, please let me know. As additional enducement I am willing to include classic car parking inside the Bugatti circuit, within the Speedster Club allocated area.

I understand that this would mean not going round with all the other Triumph cars, the best we can offer is a lonely Spitfire MkII.

If you are interested please contact me trevorjhughes@hotmail.com

Many thanks,

Trevor

I too am desperate to get a parade lap but the organisers for the Ferrari Owners Club say there are none to be had.

I would also like to get an infield pass if possible if anyone knows any spares in the Ferrari community. Happy to cover the cost.

Just a thought chaps...............

The cobra club lost out on our parade laps this year due to a mess up by the organisers, we had requested 64 !!!!!!!

So if anyone is desperate to get on the track but in a cobra, pop over to Maison Blanche thurs and come and speak to us, there will be an awful lot of people willing to bite your hand off, or alternatively share the cost so you can be a passenger or whatever.
You wont miss us we are on the large pitches over by the wall.

Not sure I understand Andy? Do you have more allocated laps than you have cars?

What sort of amount would be a suitable offering for a passenger ride? Not the same as driving but certainly quite tempting smile

we dont have any parade laps allocated is what I meant sorry if it was confusing, so if anyone has a spare or wants to trade up their lap ticket for a ride in a cob instead of their own car then I am very sure there will be some obliging owners willing to assist

I looked into this but if I recall you get told who sits in the seat next to you as the organisers sell passenger rides.

They sell bus rides, not passenger rides in private cars... Imagine the insurance on that...

I can't offer infield, but I have a few Expo parking available if you need somewhere to put your car.
