Hi Norman, it actually came in with my copy of Sprint today.
I am now going to be a bit cynical (and provocative?). When the invitation dropped out of the envelope I actually thought it might have come by mistake, after all I only own an S type! This isn't the first time I have owned a TVR, or been a TVR club member, and I have been surprised that the S type seems to be almost entirely overlooked in Sprint. Have we indeed been 'below the salt'?
It is therefore, I sincerely hope, heartening that Andrew (respected by us, I think, as regular contributor 'tvrgit') has taken up the role of S Editor for Sprint. (Sorry Andrew that Sprint managed to tuck that away on page 35, and without a picture of an S!). If new editor Mandy is trying to bring 'us' more into the fold then she, and Andrew, deserve our support.

May renew my membership then; this was one of the reasons I let it lapse, Sprint seemed to cater mainly for those owners that were more interested in driving the newer models; than those of us that wanted to not only drive and enjoy them, but wanted to work on the cars as well.It is therefore, I sincerely hope, heartening that Andrew (respected by us, I think, as regular contributor 'tvrgit') has taken up the role of S Editor for Sprint. Just got back and must say that I really enjoyed my sausage and bacon butties from the BBQ and then the Beef that again was done to perfection via the BBQ, and the little portions of fish and chips.
Oh and the Sag MKII was very nice, but still has a non removable roof, so I'm not buying one*
It was a nice do, not much info given out. Didn't manage to talk to any of the top people to see if they had plans to have a more basic sub £30k car. Still think they should do basically an updated S. Something without the fancy light show for a dash, engine in the 2.5-3.0 litre range (maybe a 2litre Turbo). Target the Lotus, BMW Z people. Then have the SAG for the people who want the nutter car. Putting everything behind 1 expensive car is a dangerous game.
There was another S (red H reg), but didn't get chance to talk. I didn't go in the S as I've had an oil pressure problem (0 reading) and I've only done a couple of miles since getting it back (playing around with the sender seems to have fixed it).

Well that's not telling us much Russ....Who is going to make it??? Where??? Warranties??? Which company is selling it ??? TVR Motors???? What happened to TVR Cars and TVR Engineering???... Were ANY questions asked of the "Management Team"???

I must admit that I expected that we would head back in side after we had seen the car, but by the time I left at 1:45 there didn't seem to be any indication that this was going to happen. Plenty of other people did talk to the guys from TVR, so maybe they got information.
