New Lens Question

[MonzaEvo]

Off to the Nürburgring in august, and i was wondering if anyone had any advice on what lens is required (to fit a 400d) to take good quality shots of Cars on the circuit (so i'm guessing the questions here are both to do with the lens focal length and also if anyone knows how close to the circuit you can get??)
