I have been asked by a few of the chaps that came last year to fix some dates for this year, so here they are:

Sunday 10th August 2008 - East London to West, double round Whitehall, then on to a venue tbc (hopefully exciting) for breakfast and other activitieswink

  • ***********************************************************************
  • ***************************EDITED UPDATE*******************************
The end venue will be Silverstone for the Tuscan Challenge!!
We will get discounted access price
We will have our own dedicated TVR parking in the centre of the circuit.
A hearty breakfast will be available at the Paddock Bite.
We will get so see our very own Ntel race (and perhaps get a personal appearance for autographs biggrin )
also:
If the agenda and timings allow, we will get a parade lap, with a halt on the start grid for a "rev for Trev".

I will post all of the finer details in a couple of weeks on a seperate thread **************************************************************************
  • ************************************************************************
Sunday 30th November 2008 the second anniversary of London Thunder - East London to West, double round Whitehall, then on to Ace Cafe for breakfast, where we have exclusive use of the car park.

Last year there were about 70 of us, but for those of you who did't make it, and don't know what this is about, i will be driving with a couple of mates through the tunnels of London, around town a little to remember London Thunder, and then on to the declared venue for a hearty breakfast. If you would like to come along, you are most welcome, but this is not an "organised event" as such.

The start point will be in East London, and to avoid nasty traffic will be early eek
The route will be similar to last year, but will be dependant upon road works and other London events.

I will share my route the week before the run with those people who PM me requesting them.

All TVR enthusiasts are welcome, with or without a TVR.
Cheers, David

Definitely in for this one. Either date will do but remember, school holidays are in August and you might find numbers down a bit. Bring it on!
