Is the Spa race like a Mini Le Mans 24 Hour Race because i know the Audi R8 or the Dome S101 doesn't tke part in the GT?

That was the extraordinary bit about the race. The idea was to recreate the fame of the old 1000 Km races (names like Radriges, Ickx and Bell immediately spring to mind) where prototypes were entered alongside GTs.
The FIA SCC (11 prototypes, SR1 and SR2) joined forces with the British GTs. That's clearly the best mix of classes for an entertaining race. You have plenty of overtaking and the fire spitting prototypes alongside the GTs is a fascinating sight. Please, more, more, much much more of that. The LMES is THE way to go.

What a great race! Drove out for the day with Natalie. Enjoyed great hospitality from Dave and Lee Caroline. My MG survived a Spa downpour! Met up with Jo Hemelsoet; who I had not seen for 7 years! Jo is coming to support the Tuscans at Brands Hatch. Drove back to Calais and met Hugh (no 3) waiting in the que for the ferry. Would we do Spa again in 1 day? No next year we will take a tent!!!

Congratulations to Belinda Edwards of BRDC for the event organistion.
Also Driver of the day Dan Eagling is surely worth a good drive in Touring Cars.

Why the hell would we want to lose someone like Dan to Touring Cars? They're as boring as hell to drive and have sod all power.
Keep them in GT's!
